Keto Motors Signs ₹300 Cr MoU with Government of Telangana to Set Up Electric Bus Manufacturing Facility

India’s electric mobility journey reached a significant milestone at the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, as KETO MOTORS PRIVATE LIMITED signed a ₹300 Cr Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to establish a Greenfield Electric Bus Manufacturing Facility at Jadcherla.

This landmark initiative strengthens Telangana’s position as a growing hub for electric mobility while reinforcing Keto Motors’ commitment to building a sustainable, future-ready transportation ecosystem for India.

A Major Step Towards Sustainable Public Transport

The upcoming manufacturing facility will focus on producing 9-meter to 13-meter electric buses, designed to meet the increasing demand for intracity and intercity public transport across Indian cities and regions.

With a planned annual production capacity of over 1,000 electric buses, the plant is designed with scalability in mind, enabling future expansion as demand accelerates. This facility will play a critical role in reducing carbon emissions, improving urban air quality, and supporting India’s broader clean energy and sustainability goals.
